Dang is not the only word I want to say right now.
We've run into a few issues in the past few hours.
Cody said last week he would have his test and stuff all done by tomorrow and we would be out on our way. So I needed to clean the rest of the house, fix the walls, and just be finished and out of here. Well turns out Cody has more to do than expected so I wasn't rushed, until a few hours ago when I realized that I am having the power turned off TOMORROW!! So Here I am trying to do the most annoying part of the whole stupid old apartment and that is filling in the holes and painting the walls. It isn't going so hot. I think the best way to resolve this issue is just paint the whole stinkin place! But there is no way that will happen by us at least. So i'm just crossing my fingers hoping the paint will dry darker than it is showing right now and if not just telling my land lord she needs to paint. They should anyway, These places are gross.
I don't know how shutting off power works but I am hoping we will still have power until tomorrow morning at least! AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IN other news. Cody did fantastic on his presentation. :) Good job sweet! I will post some video I hope here pretty soon.
Also, we're flying out to Hawaii this Sunday. It doesn't feel like it yet though....

Anyway, back to work :p

Freedom!

Life is good!
I am done with work! I don't have a phone and I have little to think about.
Packing and cleaning are now the focus until we move and then got to HAWAII!
I am really liking the way I feel right now :) With the exception of having a cold, everything is going fantastic.

Thanksgiving break was a lot of fun! :) First we drove all the way to Washington with Cali cat and with Katy, my best friends younger sis! :) It wasn't a bad drive at all which I am really grateful for. The only down part of the trip was I gave Cali cat a sleeping pill which she fought the entire time and she was miserable and drugged the whole way. Poor thing :( I will never do that again. Cali cat is now living with my parents and they are getting used to the fact she is a solitary kitty and doesn't want attention unless she is getting food or unless it is 4 a.m. Murr fat (the other cat at my parents house) doesn't like the fact that a girl is in his territory. Luckily Murr is very social and Cali isn't so there isn't any fighting over people.

We hung out with my family from Friday night until Thursday morning. We went to see the new Harry Potter which I am VERY pleased with. They did a fantastic job! We went and did a little bit of shopping at Walmart. We Went out to eat at my favorite mexican restaurant, El Sombrero. Dad, Cody and Jake went shooting and had fun. I went to a play with Kami (my best friend) on her birthday! And the rest of the time we just relaxed which was really nice. Dad and mom got up at 5 a.m. to start cooking the turkey so Cody and I could leave Washington by noon to beat a winter storm. We at a delicious turkey feast at 11 a.m. and had to leave a little after noon. I was sad do go. But, hopefully I will get to go see them sometime soon! :) Jake has gotten really big and old. It is weird. :) He is a good brother and I am grateful for him :) :)

We drove to Boise and got to hang out with Cody's family Thursday night thru Monday. Katie and Sha (Cody's sisters) got to come up from school and hang out which was awesome! Us girls went to Kohls on black Friday and got a little shopping done. It was really fun to just hang out with them the whole time :)
We got to see our friends Jen and Chris! :) Chris had his birthday Saturday and his wife planned an awesome surprise party for him. It was really cool :) Cody and Chris got to go shooting and had a lot of fun! While we were enjoying our time in Boise we heard about blizzards and highways shutting down and we were worried that we wouldn't get home, (Not, we really wanted to stay actually) anyway we made it home safe on Monday.

We found an apartment that looks very nice in Utah and is very close to the base! Cody will start work January 4th (we are assuming that is the 1st week of January, right?) We are moving all of our junk the 11th of December. I am very excited about the move. We are throwing out our 20+ year old bed that is really stinky next week. We will sleep on the air mattress until we get to Utah and find a bed. I am really excited about getting a new bed and having a fresh start so I bought this as a cover :) :) I think it is very cute.



Anyway. I am really excited about changes that are happening!!! :D
Cody's parents were really really nice and are letting us have their old video camera!! And in other good news I found our old camera! Now I need to take more photos! Cody has decided not to walk for graduate so we can leave Rexburg early and go hang out with friends in Boise before we go to Hawaii. We will have to take a lot of pictures of him in his cap and gown :) Yay Cody!!!!

I think this year is going to be full of a lot of good changes!!!!!
