our baby is going to be a toddler!

It's pretty bad I haven't blogged about us for a long time. This will also be short. I'm not on the computer often and never long enough to write a blog. I'm writing this from my phone which isn't proving to be easy.... Moving on. Penelope is turning one on August 12th! I've been trying to figure out what will make a great birthday present. I think she would love a baby doll, bath toys, and a keyboard...but I'll only be choosing one.... so for some reason I feel like I have to make the perfect choice. :-) I'm sure she will love anything. I've decided I'm going to make her cake resemble a cat face, which she will also like! She is doing very well, after being sick for a week and not eating by well the end of June she has finally gained weight again and I'm really happy about that. Her favorite snack is cheesy toast with cream cheese, the perfect combination to gain weight. She loves to say daddy, dad, dog, mamama, keey (kitty) and also likes to shake her no. She stands on her own and has taken a couple steps, but is in no rush to walk as crawling is much easier. She is doing great. and I are doing pretty good too. We're in kind of a rough season with the furlow happening on the air force base ...but it well pass by the end of September. We're in the process of selling the land rover.... so if you're interested let me know ;-) haha. Other than that Cody is working on his master's degree at usu which is a huge blessing. He wouldn't have gone to school again had we not gotten the opportunity by the air force, so I am grateful for that. I spend my days with Pennie. It is really great. The only downside is I still never manage to keep the house clean.... but I guess my dad warned Cody about this flaw before we got married.... so it isn't a surprise? But seriously I manage to do dishes twice a day and maybe a load of laundry (not put away)...I'm pretty bad at time management...and it doesn't help Pennie prefers constant attention :-) oh well... it could be worse! IWant to write about our families and recent family gatherings but I'm done trying to write this on my phone. Yay for a yearly update!
