Penelope's Blessing! 9/30/12

We drove up to Boise on Saturday the 29th with Cody's sisters. Pennie did really well on the drive! We had to stop a few times for her to eat but she didn't scream the entire time, and for that we are grateful. :) She wore Shalee's baby blesing dress, and a bow made by me, and shoes borrowed from Dawn Shumway, my dispatch friend! :) Cody gave her a wonderful blessing. It was really really fun and I am glad that our family and friends were all able to come! :) Grandpa Calton kept beeping Pennie's belly button, but Uncle Jake was protective Pennie, and wouldn't let bothersome Grandpa Calton bug her as much as he wanted. Grandma Calton got to hold Pennie Pie a lot. Gamma Shelley and Grandpa Kelly made delicious BBQ for the occasion, BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, funeral potatoes, corn, and all kinds of deserts. It was fun to have such a big get together, and great because everyone got to see their new house!
