I've been thinking a lot about where I should be at vs. where I am at. Right now I am thinking about the things I need to do today. These are a few goals I'm not really achieving yet:
1. Lose about 20 lbs.
2. Eat better.
3. Save money.
4. Clean
5. Read my scriptures, pray, and go to the temple.
6. Do well in my job.
7. Being happy with where I am at right now.
Right now, I am not where I want to be at. So then I wonder, well which goal is more important? I know realistically, I cannot save money right now, however much I'd like to. So....I can kick that one out.
Realistically, I really should be putting number 5 first. But - am I? No. I should start today.
I am working on number 1. That is going to take some time.
I did some dishes today. So...maybe number 4 is like an eighth of the way done.
I always do well in my job I think ..... so i'm fine there :)
And being happy with where I am at right now? If I could get my mind to stick to the NOW that would be good.
For some reason I've been un-reasonably tired mentally lately, and physically sore. I'm hoping once I can get things into the right order and muster up some motivation, I'll start to feel more balanced.
How do you balance your goals?? I could use some ideas. I found out the way to comment on my stuff is to click on the post title and it will come up with a comment page.
Thanks friends! :)
