I can't find a count down. And we're expecting old chicken wings in the mail.

For about 6 months (ok.. more than 6 months...) I've been freaking out like a chicken with it's head cut off about the future. Every day I pester Cody and ask WHAT the heck are we doing?! Well - things are looking a little more clear....but now it is just time. 4 weeks ago, we expected to hear from Micron in Boise. We were sure that because of Cody's experience, grades, and over all good looks .... he would get an internship. Like I said, it has been four weeks. That is a big fat NO need for interns right now!
SO, after pestering Cody AGAIN, I got him to email and call Hill Air Force Base in Utah. Our reply is "we are very interested" in having Cody work starting January for his internship. This is a good sign. I suppose after all the worrying and lack of internship I should be happy. I am happy. But also very sad. When I read the email I did get that burning in the throat problem associated with crying. My thoughts in this order 1. Bye Bye Boise. 2. Bye bye family. 4. Bye bye Friends 3. Bye bye Jake (I really wanted to move closer so we could bother my brother Jake more often. We miss him a lot.) We wont hear anything more for a little while because the guy who is in charge is off to Disney Land! Lucky man.
I've accepted the possibility that Utah is where we might be living for the next 5 years or more, Depending on the internship. If Cody likes it, we've decided getting a job is a priority. :) Smart thinking, right? hahaha.
Now is the waiting game. I am the kind of anxious person that gets all jittery with change or challenges. This is how the rest of the year looks like in my freaking out eyes.
_Work my butt off September, October, November.
_Make sure I have an apartment lined up for us in Utah ready for move in December.
_Find an apartment that allows cats. (this is a huge challenge.... I've looked. They are all an extra $300 more for a "deposit" which I doubt we could get back....ugh)
_Get everything moved out because we're going to Hawaii for Christmas! I think we are going right after Cody is done with school. I may be moving stuff down without him. Thank goodness we have family down there :) (I will be calling on you for help by the way.....)
_Litter Train Cali cat. (right now she waits by the door and goes outside to do her business. She has never had an "accident" in our place - except when we left her inside for over 12 hours....
_Worry about Housing.
_Worry about Cali Cat
_Worry about moving
_Worry ... Worry... Worry.

These are the super up sides about Utah :)
1. Katie and Sha live in Logan now!!!!! :D We can go see them!
2. Cody's parents can visit all of us in one shot!
3. Chik-fil-a is in Ogden (yuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmm - o)
4. My 2 of my auntie's live in Utah and my Granna lives down there too!
5. I like the mountains.
6. Hill is close to the only place in Utah I am familiar with.
7. I am sure there are more....

I really am considering making a countdown chain to watch the days go away until we get to move out of Rexburg.

As for the chicken wings. We left some on Katie's car as a going away present in Logan......I think they sat there for a day before she found them :) It sounds like we may be getting a gift in the mail from her soon.....
